Euro 2016: EHF men's handball championship
by Sara, 14 January 2015
If there’s one sport the Scandinavian countries excel at time and again, it’s handball. It’s also the one sport that’s never shown or watched in the US. In fact, if you ask most people in the US they probably couldn’t tell you if it’s played on a court, a field, a rink, or a pitch… But, that’s OK, they have a ton of other great sports.
Friday the 18th is the "throw-off” for the EHF Men’s European Handball Championship in Poland. All three Scandinavian countries have qualified, with Denmark slated to come out strong from the preliminary rounds in Group D.
To get an overview of all the groups and matches you’ll need to visit the official EHF Euro 2016 website, but we’ll keep you updated on the Scandinavian games.
